I am a board-certified psychiatrist who has been practicing in Tacoma for over 20 years. I went to medical school at Drew/UCLA Medical Education Program and performed my residency at Duke University Medical Center. I treat patients from adolescence through the geriatric years. As a general psychiatrist, I have experience with and treat the breadth of mental health concerns.

Approach

In my psychiatric practice, I use an evidence-based medicine approach. This involves combining the most up-to-date scientific information with traditional psychiatric principles to achieve the best treatment outcomes. Through collaboration with my patients, we will develop a treatment plan consisting of psychotherapy, psychotropic medications, or a combination of the two that works best for you. This process enhances the likelihood of reaching one’s desired goals.
